We have an arts fest downtown on the Riverfront every year which is pretty cool (as I remember) but I can’t really take the massive crowds and screaming babies anymore so I haven’t been in a while.

My city is pretty artsy–we hold the world’s largest art competition every summer–but I like the “hippie artsy” area just outside of town. That’s where my Farmer’s Market is and where all the quirky coffee shops are. I basically lived in that area in college.

Not many coffee places are open 24 hours, which is fine because I’m a senior citizen and in bed by 10.
